Cut shortening, baking powder, sugar, flour together (using a pie cutter). Mix in eggs and lemon juice.
Grease and flour a 9"x13" pan.
Spread 3/4 of dough in bottom of pan. Top with preserves. Use remaining dough to criss-cross top.
Bake 350?/40 minutes.
Cool - Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
