Line tart tins with pastry. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time beating until smooth. Stir in coconut and vanilla. Spoon 1/2 - 1 teaspoon jam into each tart shell. Divide coconut mixture evenly between the tart shells, filling about 2/3 full.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
