Suggest a better descriptionSet 5 cups of water to boil
Wash the rice in a metal bowl, in cold water several times. Swirl the rice around with hands each time before pouring out the water. Repeat 3-4 times until the water runs clear.
Put washed rice into rice cooker bowl. When water has boiled, use same rice cup used to measure the rice, and add 4 1/3 cups hot water. Put in the rice cooker, but do not turn it on.
Let soak for 25 minutes.
Add olive oil and salt, stir with a rice paddle, and turn on rice cooker.
When rice is finished, use a rice paddle to fluff up the rice.
