This is my attempt to make clif like bars. This bar although good for everyone is specifially for people following the "Eat for your type" cooking style. This is for Blood type A.
Prepare a cookie sheet by spraying it with Pam and placing wax paper on the bottom with wax paper hanging off both sides. (Ideally if you have 2 identical cookie sheets you can use the second to compress the bars.)
Chop up both the dry roasted peanuts and the Dried Pineapple in a food processor.
Combine the rice puffs, dry roasted Peanuts, Pineapple, Flax Meal, Walnut Meal and Quick Oats all together in a large bowl. Mix very well.
Take some pinapple juice and boil it down to 3/4 cup of thick juice.
Combine Creamy Peanut Butter and Pineapple juice in a microwave save bowl. Mix well and microwave for 2 minutes. Stirring every 30 seconds.
Pour the Pineapple, Peanut Butter mixture in to the dry ingredients. The best way to mix this is with bare hands, making sure it is thoroghly mixed.
Pour the mixed ingredients in to the prepared cookie sheet with the wax paper. Push the mixture in to all the corners. Compress the mixture, if you have another identical cookie sheet, put some wax paper on top of the ingredients then press the second pan down on the first compressing the mixture in the pan.
Place the pan in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour to cool.
Pull the sheet of bars out of the pan by grabbing the wax paper on the sides and lifting straight up. Cut in to 24 even bars. Wrap individually and place in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat. Enjoy!
