Beat eggs & sugar until very thick; add water. Add sifted dry ingredients, folding in gently. Pour batter into a 11 x 7.5-inch pan and spread evenly. Bake at 375? to 400? about 12 minutes. Turn out onto a cloth sprinkled with sugar; cut off crisp edges. Spread cake with warmed jelly or jam; roll up quickly.
