Line a buttered 13 x 9" pan with the bread. Brown the sausage. Spread the sausage and grated cheese over the bread slices. Combine in a separate bowl the milk, soup, mustard, pepper, onions, and eggs. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 300 degrees for 1.5 hours.
