A terrific marinade that produces plump, juicy wings with a nice little kick!
Place everything (except the chicken wings!) in a food processor, and puree until smooth. (The consistency will be thick and a bit lumpy.)
Place the chicken wings in a deep casserole, or a large ziploc bag, and pour the marinade mixture over the wings. Mix well to ensure all wings are throughly coated.
Marinate for at least 2-3 hours, and ideally over night.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Arrange skewers in a lattice pattern at the bottom of a roasting pan or a deep baking sheet or broiling pan. This keeps the wings off the bottom of the pan, and prevents sticking.
Place the wings on the skewers, leaving space between the wings for adequate airflow.
Bake at 450F for approximately 30 minutes. (Adjust up or down depending on the size of the wings.)
Remove and serve. Makes 25-35 wings.
