This recipe is all about adding things to your taste. I like alot of onion in mine, so it's up to you how much to add in, with every ingredient.... Saute your onion and garlic cloves in a pan to bring out the flavor a little, Add into slowcooker. Next add in chicken broth, tomatoes, black beans, corn, and tomato paste. Next add in the cumin and any other spicy seasoning you would like. I mix it up every time I make this soup. I add in Montreal steak seasoning sometimes, different types of chili powder, it's all up to you! Cumin is the main thing that you must have in there to make it taste right. I always end up throwing in more than 2 tablespoons of cumin, don't be shy with it! Cook until it's hot, which doens't take too long. maybe an hour or two is all. No definitive time. This is the easiest recipe I've ever made. Top with a dollop of sour cream, Cheddar cheese, and some chopped cilantro on top. Enjoy!
