2 cups sugar
3 teaspoons baking soda
½ cup cocoa
¼ teaspoon salt
Mix together and let stand
Mix together: ½ cup Mazola Oil
1 cup hot water
1 cup sour milk
(to sour milk: add 1 tablespoon vinegar to
whole milk and let stand 5 minutes)
add 1 teaspoon vanilla
Beat add to dry ingredients above and add 2 eggs and mix well.
Put in a 9 x 13 (ungreased and unfloured) pan and bake 45 minutes at
325º (very soupy batter)
