Fry cinnamon stick, cloves and oilt till spitting. Add onions and garlic and cook till slightly browned. Add the beef and cook till browned.
Add the tomatoes, chilli, salt and black pepper. Cover and simmer for 30 - 40 minutes. Add the peppers, mushrooms and kidney beans, cook for another 10 - 15 minutes.
Serve with rice.
