Whisk together 1 cup milk, 2 eggs, 2 tbsp. vanilla extract - keep cool in refrigerator for about 20 minutes
Mix together 1/2 gal. milk, 1 cup Carolina Rice, 1 cup sugar. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes stirring often. Add in mixture from refrigerator and cook another hour or so, stirring often
Total cooking time about 1 hour and 15 minutes or a little more depending on rice tenderness. Should look like chocolate pudding.
Cool with wax paper over it to keep creamy
