Position 2 racks near the center of the oven and preheat to 475 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment and set aside. In a saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients over medium high heat, allow to boil and reduce heat to simmer. Let simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove and cool.
In a large bowl, combine the meat, garlic, salt, pepper, eggs, panko, paprika and onion powder. Use your hands to mix together. Do not overmix. Shape into a ball (about 3 tablespoons) and place on baking sheet. Bake 11-13 minutes or until completely cooked. Using 2 tablespoons, dip each meatball into the sauce (or brush with sauce) and bake an additional 2 minutes.
Once the meatballs are baked, you can put them into a crockpot on warm, topping with remaining sauce, or eat directly from the oven.
