In large soup pot Add the oil, onions and garlic. Cook sauté. Add broth, kale, carrots and lentils. Stir well. cook on medium high heat till it comes to a boil. Then lower heat to a simmer. Cook till Lentils are tender or desire density.
I prefer my lentils NOT to be super tender. I also used Chicken Broth rather then vegetable broth.
Note, if you soak lentils for an hour or two before hand they will cook faster.
