This was our variation after many tries to please my son and his teenage friends. We just kept it in fridge and they could scoop a bowlful and pop it in the microwave after school. Yummy!
Boil chicken in large stockpot until tender. Remove chicken saving broth. Skin and debone. Shred meat with fingers. Cook spaghetti in broth, drain saving a cup of the broth. Place spaghetti back in stockpot and add remaining ingredients. Stir over low heat until cheese is melted. Add chicken meat and just enough broth to get the texture you want. Mix thoroughly and serve.
