Brown beef with onion and drain
Add Taco seasoning and water as listed on package.
Simmer beef mixture per taco seasoning instructions.
Meanwhile:
Shred lettuce
Chop onions (unless you are like me and bought them already chopped)
place everything on the table for guests to assemble their own salads
I start build my salad this way:
1) Crush Doritos and place in bottom of bowl or plate (sometimes I use Fritos or Tortilla chips uncrushed)
2) Add lettuce next
3) Add meat mixture
4) Add black olives
5) Add onions
6) Add tomatoes
7) Add Salsa
8) Add Taco Sauce
9) Add cheese
10) Top off with a dollop of Sour Cream
