This recipe was sent to me by my step-daughter for inclusion in the "Family History Cookbook that I am writing.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Spray botton of baking dish with cooking spray
Place chicken on bottom of dish leaving space between each breast
Top chicken with cooked brocolli
Mix soup and milk and pour over top
Sprinkle cheese mixture over dish
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over dish
Salt and pepper
Crumble bread crumb mixture over the top and cover dish with foil
Cook 45 minutes and then remove the foil and cook another 15 minutes
Let dish settle about 10-15 minutes before serving
*If chicken breasts are extra thin, bake at 350 for 30 minutes with foil and another 10 minutes without foil. If using the large, dense breasts, you may have to increase cooking time.
