Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl. Chill before serving. Serve cold with Stacy's pita or bagel chips, Frito scoops, potato chips, or whatever. If the dip has become soupy, drain in a collander for a few minutes before serving.
Note: Hellmans may be substituted for Dukes. I use Breakstone but other brands of cottage cheese work, so long as they are not soupy. Look in the fridge for what you have left over and drop it in. Everything should be fresh or freshly cooked al dente! Stay away from soft vegetables, e.g, tomatoes, eggplant, etc.. The Worcestershire Sauce adds piquancy and enhances the taste of the vegetables, but Tobasco Suace would be great add with certain vegetable combinations for a spicier taste.
I was served this dip by the host of a prior evening dinner party, who looked in his fridge to see what was left over. The above is what he found and is tried and true, but I have made it with a bunch of different veggies, e.g., peppers, green beans, parsley, tarragon, basil, etc.. The veggies and herbs add taste, color and texture. The key is to consider what you enjoy together and make it to YOUR taste. Adjust the proportions to create the taste that you want. Taste it often in preparation and add what you think would help!!
