Pasta's, Rice's and Carbs are a big no no on Keto. However, this Keto friendly Fettuccine Carbonara uses a plant based pasta known as 'Konjac', we just posted a whole blog dedicated to suppliers in your region and information on this marvelous creation, the blog post can be found here. Look, I am not going to lead you down a garden path and say 'Konjac' is the same or better than the real thing, but, it's pretty darn close and you can get a whole range of different options, it sure beats Zucchini spirals and Spinach leaves. This Carbonara is heavy on the cream, and snow flaked with Parmesan cheese. Crack some fresh black pepper over the top and you have yourself a wonderful Italian favorite that you may have thought you would never be able to have again whilst on the Keto lifestyle plan.
