So quick and easy, hot and fresh!
Place the oil in a heavy bottom pan with 3 kernels. Heat on medium.
When the three kernels pop, add the sugar and corn. Shake the pot just above the burner so the kernels are swirling around the pot. Continue until the popcorn starts to pop. Stop only when you hear 3 or more seconds between pops. Salt the popcorn in layers as you pour into a bowl.
For an option with coconut oil, use three tablespoons of the solid-style coconut oil.
For an option with stevia, use a generous tablespoon or 1.5 tablespoons instead of sugar.
Do not double up or it will burn. Must make separate batches.
If you pre-warm the kernels in the microwave, more of them will pop and it will pop faster.
