Super simple and delicious key lime sherbet recipe
Heat sugar water and kefir lime leaves in a sauce pan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and stir in the lime juice and zest. Refrigerate until the mixture is chilled. Remove from refrigerator and add in milk. Churn in ice cream maker.
For Tartufo - Let ice cream set for at least one day.
Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until they stick together when squeezed or pressed. Bake in a 325 degree convection oven with low fan for 5 minutes. Cool completely and pulse in food processor a few times. Scoop ice cream into a ball using grey ice cream scoop. Shape into a perfect ball with your hands and then roll in the toasted graham cracker crumbs until completely coated. Wrap in plastic wrap and place back in freezer until service.
