Prepare cabbage and carrots by either grating or finely chopping. Grating will provide the most authentic results. Remove water from cabbage by pressing. Set cabbage and carrots aside.
Mix oil, onion and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Next, add tarragon vinegar to the mix. Fold Miracle Whip into the mixing bowl. Finally, pour in carrots and cabbage and fold in well.
Refrigerate mix in an air-tight container for at least 24 hours before serving
Prepare recipe at least one day before using for best results. Refrigerate a minimum of 2 hrs before serving.
