1. Cook sausage, bell pepper, garlic and tomatoes till bell pepper is tender.
2. Add red kidney beans and black beans, Cheyenne pepper, turmeric, chicken bone broth, and salt & pepper.
3. Bring to boil and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
4. Before serving mush some of the red beans to color and thicken the liquid.
Try this on rice, baked potato, or sweet potato.
Linguica can be substituted for sausage.
This also makes a great Crockpot dish. Follow the directions above and the cook on low for 5-6 hours.
