Suggest a better descriptionIn a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, beat together the eggs and buttermilk until blended. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix quickly with a large wooden spoon until a smooth batter forms. Fold I in the 1/4 cup melted butter and fruit if used.
Cook as desired.
