Defrost both bags. Empty contents of vegetable bag into crock pot. In a hot fry pan quickly sear the stew meat and place on top of vegetables. De-glaze the fry pan with 1 cup of water. While stirring, whisk in 2 TBSP flour to form a roux. When thickened, add to crock pot. Add 2 cups of ale or lager to crock pot. Cook 6-8 hours on low.
Serve with Yukon gold smashed potatoes with butter and Onion & Chive Blend.
