Curried lamb burger plus a Bhaji, what more could you ask
Mix all the burger ingredients and shape into 3 burgers. Chill in the fridge.
Grate the cucumber and squeeze out as much juice as possible. Mix together with together mint and yoghurt , season with salt to taste. Chill.
To make the Bhajis
Mix the flour, Garam masala and bicarbonate of soda with up to 200 ml of water to make a thick batter season generously with salt. Mix in the onion and toss to thoroughly coat. Shallow fry for a few minutes each side.
Meanwhile cook the burgers and assemble topping with red onion and mango chutney if you like.
