My Dad's awesome salad
LANIE 'S FAMOUS BROCCOLI SALAD
Break fresh, uncooked broccoli into fairly small pieces and place in bowl. Pieces of fresh uncooked cauliflower can be mixed with the beoccoli if desired.
Add:
1 cup grated cheese
1 cup shelled sunflower seeds ( lightly roasted)
1 packet bacon (chopped and fried crisp)
A few spring onions - chopped small
For the drssing:
3 tablespoons grape vinegar
1 cup mayonnaise - light mayo can also be used
1/4 cup sugar
Pour the drssing over the salad and chill
Lasts for a few days in the fridge and great with a braai ....
