Jeriann's Recipe for Lasagna
cook ground beef and onion
when cooked completely, add tomatoes, tomatoe paste, sugar, salt, oregano, thyme, crushed red pepper, garlic salt
Heat to boiling, stir to break up the tomatoe
Reduce heat to low, cover, simmer 30 minutes - stirring occasionally
Mean while prepare lasagna noodles as label directs
Drain
Combine eggs and cottage cheese in a bowl
turn oven onto 350 degrees
Assembly:
in a 9x13" pan, arrange half the noodles on the bottom of pan
Put a layer of the egg cottage cheese mix over noodles
Sprinkle half of the cheese over the egg/cottage cheese mix
top with 1/2 sauce
Repeat for the next level
BAKE:
Bake at 350 degrees for at least 45 minutes.
Rest 10 minutes
