A tasty, easy dish for the week; could be healthier.
Add the oil to a sauce pan. Heat to medium. Cut the italian sausage into half moons and place in the sauce pan to begin browning. Add the ground beef to the sauce pan and brown completely. Cook the noodles and separate. Spread some sauce in the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle 1/3 of the meats and cheeses. Top with 3 noodles and repeat. Top with the final 3 noodles and spread the remainder of the sauce on top. Bake, covered with aluminum foil, for 30 mins at 350?. For the last 5 minutes, remove the foil and top with extra mozzarella cheese. Let stand 5-10 minutes prior to serving.
