Stir together the sour cream, mayo, lemon juice, basil, salt, pepper, & garlic powder, until well blended.
Tear the lettuce into bite-size pieces. Cook & crumble the bacon. Layer lettuce, bacon, and tomatoes in a large glass baking dish or large salad bowl. Spread mayo mixture evenly over the tomatoes, sealing to the edge of the dish. Cover & chill at least 2 hours. Serve with croutons on the side.
