1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Brown beef and onion; drain. Stir in seasonings and tomato sauce.
3) In a 9 x 11 inch baking dish layer tortilla strips in a single layer (side by side and touching), meat sauce, olives, and cheese. Repeat.
4) Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Serve with sour cream and avocado slices.
