This is easy to make and it looks good and tastes great when you scoop it up. It's best served in a clear glass bowl.
Layer lettuce, cucumber, onion and peas in 2 1/2 quart salad bowl. Combine mayonnaise and sugar, mix well. Spread over salad. Cover; refrigerate overnight. To serve, sprinkle with croutons, if desired.
