preheat oven 375. grease 9 " sq pan.
Mince 2 TB almonds in food processor. add flour and process til nuts are fine. 1 min.
add remaining crust ingredients and combine with on/off turns. continue processing til dough is moistened and masses together. 5 sec. pat into bottom of prepared pan and bake 18 min til golden.
while crust is baking prepare toping. combine 1/2 c sugar and zest in food processor aabout 1 min. add remaining sugar and eggs and processs 30 sec. add remaining ingredients and process 30 sec.
when crust is golden remove from oven and reduce to 350. pour topping over hot crust and sprinkle with sliced almonds. bake additional 25 min. cool
