Preheat oven to 450°f.
In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients until it forms a loose dough bowl.
Place the dough ball on a floured surface. Flatten it a bit with your hands and fold it over, in half, on top of itself. Repeat this five to seven times.
Roll the dough out to half-inch thickness. Use a 3" biscuit cutter to cut into 10-12 biscuits.
Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet pan and place on the middle rack of the oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
Brush with another tablespoon of melted butter and place back in the oven until the tops are golden brown, another 2 to 3 minutes.
