Suggest a better descriptionHeat oven to 350 degrees. Grease & flour removable bottom tube pan. In medium bowl whisk flour, baking powder, salt and poppy seeds. Set aside. In lg bowl beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Add 1/2 flour mixture and milk mixture. Beat on lown until smooth. Add rest of the flour mixture. Stir in lemon peel.
Bake @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes, until top is dry and lightly browned. Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove side of pan and cool completely.
