Lentejas Guisadas

1. Fry six stripes of bacon. Add spices as needed.
2. Cube two tomatoes and half of a large onion.
3. Clean two cups of lentils and set aside.
4. Blend two tomatoes and half bacon, with on can of tomato soup and garlic. Set aside.
5. Remove bacon once white foam starts to form.
6. In the same bacon grease sauté the chopped onion, then the tomato and cilantro.
7. Once fully sauteed add the lentils.
8. Still until cooked superficially for about 10 min. Vegetables must be fully cooked and lentils should show wrinkles.
9. Add tomato blend and salt. Stir and let boil at low fire for about 20 min. Check periodically.
10. Chop bacon stripes and add.
