Suggest a better descriptionCombine water, salt (less if canned tomatoes being used) and lentils into large pan and cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Do not drain.
Add to the above mixture the tomato sauce, tomatoes, soup mix, chili powder, and cumin. simmer another 30 minutes. Serve with rice. Serves 12 (2 cups per serving). 390 kcal per serving.
