Sauce the onion, celery, carrots, red pepper in some oil for 10 minutes. Add garlic.
Add broth (plus water)
Add Bay Leaves, Cumin, Smoked Paprika, Ground Coriander, Aleppo Pepper Powder.
Add Hatch Chilis.
Bring to a boil, add lentils and cook until tender maybe 15 minutes. Add tomatoes.
Heat. Throw in kale at the last (or pour this over raw kale in bowls.)
