Suggest a better description1. In a bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in water. Let sit for about 10 minutes, till foam forms on top.
2. Add oil and eggs and mix well
3. Add salt
4. Gradually add 1.5-2 cups of flour at a time. Use spoon to mix.
5. Once mixture becomes stiff, start kneading with your hands until the dough is soft and velvety
6. Cover the bowl with saran wrap and let the dough rise for about 30-45 minutes until it doubles in size
7. Divide the dough into 3 parts, shape and place on a baking sheet to rise again.
8. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
9. Brush the challah with egg and add seeds of your choice.
10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until brown.
