This tomato based pasta sauce works well with any fresh pasta, but is best with tagliatelle.
Finely dice bacon, then fry until almost crisp in a medium sized pot.
Peel and crush garlic and finely chop chilli, then add to bacon.
Add tomatoes, halved olives, capers, salt and pepper.
Your sauce is now ready. Leave to simmer or put to one side while cooking pasta.
Cook pasta according to instructions on pakaging.
Drain pasta and toss with a dash of olive oil, then mix sauce in with torn basil leaves.
Serve immediately with parmesan shavings and basil garnish
