Add onion to pot, cook 10 min. Add peppers, cook 5 min. more. Add reserved beans and bacon, plus all remaining ingredients except apples and reserved tomato juices. combine.
Cover pot, bake in oven for 2 hours Add apples and 1/2 cup tomato juices. bake uncovered for another 2 hours. Serve hot
