Prepare macaroni to package directions (al dente). Drain.
Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt and pepper. Add shredded cheese, mixing well. Stir in well drained macaroni and pour into a greased 9x9 baking dish.
Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.
