Suggest a better descriptionHeat a large pot of water to a rolling boil and cook pasta to al dente according to the box directions. Drain pasta in colander when done. While pasta is cooking, start next step.
Melt 4 TBS butter in large pot over medium heat. Blend together flour, salt, and dry mustard and whisk into melted butter. (Should make a dry paste. Add more flour if needed.)
Add milk and stir constantly until sauce thickens and is smooth (10-15 min). Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Add cooked pasta and stir to combine.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan. Add bread crumbs. Mixture will be clumpy.
Lightly spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Add the pasta with cheese sauce. Then sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake at 375F for 25 min until lightly browned and bubbly. Or you can freeze this dish before baking and bake later (375F for 45-60 from frozen).
Serve with side of meat (meatloaf, kielbasa, breaded fish) and a green salad.
