Doug has made this recipe for several years. It's simple but one that Maja and Doug frequently enjoy! This recipe makes enough for 2.
In a large sauce pan, saute onion, garlic and spices. Add fish and shrimp and saute.
Add soup, crushed tomatoes, wine (I usually fill the soup can with wine, stir it around to finish removing the soup from the can).
Heat for a few minutes.
Add the fish, shrimp and barley. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve
Sides: Fresh green salad or carrot sticks if you want to everything on the left side of the color spectrum.
