In a large frying pan, heat the oil. Add onion and saute. Add paprika, salt (generously) and pepper and mix. Add the chicken and brown 12 minutes and all sides.
Add water, cover and simmer. It will smell wonderful! Add sour cream to the drippings in the pan, and a pinch of flour to thicken it.
Heat through and serve on top of egg noodles (or Spatzle).
