My favorite buttermilk pie.
Cream butter and sugar together; beat in flour. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend buttermilk, vanilla, and nutmeg; stir into flour mixture. Spoon into pie crust. Bake in a 350 degree oven until golden-brown and center is firm and set, about 40 to 50 minutes. Cool well before serving.
