Suggest a better descriptionHeres a nice little salad (I believe its from the Private Collection cookbooks done by the Jr. League of Palo Alto, CA) that my sister served on New Years Eve a few years back and which has always been well received when I have made it. Wash lettuce and tear (dont use knife to avoid browning) into bite-sized pieces. Wash spinach and trim stems. Combine with ingredients through mandarin oranges. Just before serving toss with dressing and garnish with one of the above nuts, if desired. Dressing: Whisk ingredients together. Posted to FOODWINE Digest 13 Dec 96 From: Constance Felten
