Suggest a better descriptionStore these chocolate-almond candies in a tightly covered box in a cool place. Place each candy in a tiny fluted paper or foil cup to serve. This is a delicious candy to offer guests after dinner. In the top of a double boiler placed over gently boiling water, melt chocolate. Stir in butter until melted. Keep chocolate mixture warm over hot water. Cut each almond lengthwise into several pieces. In a small skillet over low heat, combine almonds and sugar; toast, stirring, until lightly browned. Add to melted chocolate mixture. Remove from heat and drop chocolate-almond mixture by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let stand until cooled and hardened. Makes about 40 candies.
