Suggest a better descriptionHalve bread slices. Place the syrup into one flat bowl and the coconut mixed with sesame seeds in another. Dip bread quickly on both sides into syrup and then into coconut-sesame mixture. Place on small buttered cookie sheet and put into 400~ oven til coconut is nicely browned- about 10 min. (the side next to the pan will also be browned). It is best served when made as coconut gets lost in storage. The sesame cuts the sweet and gives a nutty flavor.
