1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Pour the syrup into a shallow bowl and give each slice a generous dip.
4. Lay the bacon on the baking sheet and sprinkle with pepper.
5. Bake for 20 minutes; turn the bacon and bake another 10 to 15 minutes.
6. Remove and let cool to serve.
