Bring water to a boil, add the salt, and stir in the cereal and cinnamon. Stir for a few minutes, then lower heat, cover the pan, and cook until thick, about 7 minutes. Pour into bowls, serve with the toasted nuts on top, and rim the edge with maple syrup. Serve with a pitcher of milk.
